Today i tried making my butter cake which i wanted to try for long time. I had always wanted to make butter cake for my brother to try and comment...cos the whole family likes butter cake including my ney, sista, BIL even my FIL and we like that together with our masala tea for the evening...Ehmm...that will be nice!
So far so..it bakes well...let me post up my picture so you tell me nice or not?
However this weekend i'm heading to Seremban and will send some back home in KL for Pall to try. He is my best critic having said that....EVERYONE CAN COOK! So i won't regret it.
But again ehm...i was so enthusiastic going to the groceries store today to get my butter & flour and realized i didn't have a weighing scale..so how could I take measure & start making a cake oh goshh...that is really killing me...i called my sister to tell her that i had to go back to 101 (though she was too busy to talk to me) those were the days how my mom made cake. We helped her beat & beat & beat..never stops beating..wala..here's the fluffy cake. Guess what my measurement was pretty "anggaran" everything was thru CUP today..it looks good, the mixture was alright. I hope it did not turn out to be too sweet or too floury. Hey.. I want a moist cake not a stone cake. Can't wait to try it once it cools off! Let you know tomorrow...Good night & ciao!
